Centennial Parklands in Sydney yesterday turned into a bubbly affair with Domaine Chandon Australia hosting the Cup Day festivities. A style trifecta, initially what felt like a Great Gatsby vibe turned into a rock’n’roll affair with Tangerine being the winning colour of the day. Sorry I changed all my pics to black and white!

Sorry ladies, I don’t have any tips for the races except fashion ones! I’m thinking a lean silhouette, longer hem line in a bold spring colour. This Chanel look was inspired by the overly extravagant destination in the French Riviera, Antibes. Goodluck girls!

The Blonde and the Beautiful

It’s a little like the film Virgin Suicides while photographing Lucy Hinckfuss, Arabella Ramsay and Lucy Folk in Melbourne last week. They are the 3 B’s; best friends, blonde and beautiful. All in fashion, these chicks own their own style and rub off a little on each other morphing into a sort of hippy-prairie innocence.

The Compound Crew

Everyone is talking about The Compound.  The warehouse wedged between White Rabbit Gallery and Serial Space in Chippendale is the love child of Trent Power and his fiancée Jessica French.  It’s a refuge for inner city creatives and bustling with activity.   Previously Power & French’s residence, which opened once a year for the most incredible parties! The Compound has been transformed into a creative hub with Film maker Gracie Otto and teepee designer, Povel Torudd amongst a host of talented others.
