We all got together in a styling frenzy last Friday evening at the Belinda MLC store. I styled the gorgeous model Samantha Harris (Chic) in the stores latest designer collections, whilst the Belinda girls styled me. For more pics visit the www.belindablog.com

Gucci and The Sydney Film Festival

John Cassavetes, what can I say, Ive opened up one of my old film journals and there’s pages on him. He’s a director that has influenced so much of my career. I’m excited to see that one of his beautiful and quite confronting films will be playing at the Sydney Film Festival.  As well as Luchino Visconti’s movie Senso- the colour in a Visconti film is a work of art.

As part of Gucci’s ongoing commitment to the importance of film restoration. Gucci and Sydney Film Festival are presenting two beautifully restored classics from the Cinema Visionaries series –John Cassavetes  ‘A Woman Under the Influence’ (Saturday 5th June 2010, 10:30am AGN NSW) and Luchino Visconti’s Senso (Sunday 13th June 2010, 12:05 State Theatre)

Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini said, “Gucci has a long history with film dating back to the late 1940’s, and we are proud to support the work of Martin Scorsese and The Film Foundation to keep these vibrant, timeless films alive. Through preservation, the legacy of visionary filmmakers like Luchino Visconti and Federico Fellini can continue to inspire us, as well as future generations”.
