Backstage at the Charlotte Ronson show. An ode to the relaxed early 90’s, I so remember doing the dress over Tshirt look while watching 90210.

Backstage at Diane von Furstenberg, bold prints and lots of drapery. Love the sunnies.

WILLOW’s Cat Lady

New York Fashion Week has started with the exception of Aust. designer WILLOW. Kit Willow, pregnant with her second child and unable to fly has instead created a film, Lady into Cat, for the launch of her SS2011 collection.

Kit embracing modern forms of communication, seen here skyping Melanie Huyhn which she does weekly.  French Vogue Editor, Melanie said about styling WILLOW’s latest video “It is always so exciting to work on project that push the image of the brand further in a new way. On this one, wild and unexpected. It was great to have Emma Balfour, she is so iconic. Sharif gave a magic feeling to the movie.”

The film’s Director-Sharif Hamza, Stylist-Melanie Huyhn and Model- Emma Balfour are all internationally acclaimed at what they do. Watch for yourselves…

Emma “The way the dress moved as we were filming was incredible. The texture moved and transformed with the environment – it was a goddess dress.”

Kit “Emma embraced the concept and thankfully the wild puma.”
