My favourite things…

‘I really enjoy exploring new cities and inherited a love of maps. The magic effort that goes into them for someone else to discover’

‘I’m a big reader. At the moment it’s the classics, Portrait of a Lady and Middle March. My notebook is for writing poems and short stories. I’m never without my iPod, at the moment I’m listening to Fleetwood Mac and Middle East an Australian band’

‘The jewellery I wear has all been given to me by very special people. Rachel Ward, Director of ‘Beautiful Kate’ gave me the pearl necklace. Nicole O’Donohue the Producer of ‘Griff the Invisible’ gave me the bluebird pendant and I inherited my ring from my grandmother who was a performer amongst other things, she was a big part of my life.’

‘Oh and I always wear hats, this Mimco hat inspired the Director, Leon Ford, he wanted my character Melody in ‘Griff the Invisible’ to wear it. Although I never ended up wearing it in the film because the day we shot the scene I’d left it at home and had to wear another.’

Maeve is currently performing at Belvoir Theatre the Shakespeare play Measure for Measure and will appear in soon to be released film ‘Griff the Invisible’.

Krew wears Ellery top and her own top hat.

My favourite things…

‘I lived in New York while studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute, I bought this photograph by George Byrne of the Brooklyn Bridge here in Australia, it reminds me of my time there. This photo of Rose (Byrne) and I was taken at The Plaza Hotel in New York, it has so much history we had to go there, even just for a drink! Rose and I grew up together, this mirror is a gift from her, its a prop from a film she did, I Capture the Castle.’

‘I’m a character actress so love to dress up, these Chelsea de Luca earrings have an Old Hollywood feel to them, the top hat was a gift from a friend and has the original owners name written inside. This silver ring I bought in La Paz when I trekked through South America.’

Delta Of Venus, it’s a collection of beautifully written short erotic stories that are perfect for travelling. I always wear this Marc Jacobs fragrance, it’s a mens scent but its really sweet and fresh.’

‘This creepy porcelain doll was a gift from a friend after doing a show called Bliss, it was a horror so it was quite fitting. There is a store in Sydney that sell these dolls already broken.’

Krew recently starred in 3D film Dead Boring and on popular Australian TV series, Rescue Special Ops. We named Krew’s porcelain doll, Jamie.
